What Is Google PageRank or PR? How It Works?

Almost every surfer have come acrossed Google, whether to find something or due to any other reason.  But no one knows that how Google answers our questions accurately, and correctly. The answer is Google's PageRank Algorithm.

Webmaster Minakshi , SEO, SEO Tips, SEO Tutorials, Googles's Page Rank

"PageRank was named after LARRY PAGE one of the founders of GOOGLE."

WHAT IS PAGERANK?
PageRank Algorithm is the algorithm used by Google to find out the answer from the Google Database related to your Search and according to popularity of page. Pages with high PR displayed first than pages with low PR (e.g PR 9 is greater than PR 7). PageRank counted from 0-10.

HOW PAGE RANK WORKS?
It was really difficult task to manage thousand of pages in Google. The solution of this problem was developed as PAGERANK ALGORITHM. Pagerank works by counting the number and quality of links to a page to determine the rough estimate of how important the website is.
Google uses the Automated crawler GOOGLEBOT to gather all the information about the pages.

PAGERANK ALGORITHM
The original PageRank algorithm was given by Larry Page and Sergey Bin (Founders of Google).
PR(A) = (1-d) + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) + ... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn))
where,

PR(A) is the PageRank of page A,

PR(Ti) is the PageRank of pages Ti which link to page A,

C(Ti) is the number of outbound links on page Ti and

d is a damping factor which can be set between 0 and 1.

Larry Page and Sergey Bin has published another version of this PR Algorithm. in seconed version Page Rank of page A is given by:
PR(A) = (1-d) / N + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) + ... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn))
where,
N is total number of all pages on the web.

SEO and YOUR BUSINESS

SEO, SEO Tips, SEO Techniques, SEO and your business, Webmaster Minakshi
What Does SEO Mean to Your Business?

SEO is must to grow up your business online. It's the easiest way to get noticed over internet genuinely. You will get noticed easily by targeting some KEYWORDS you used to advertise. It is natural & organic way to get noticed when user types the keywords(Search Terms) into search engine that relates to your niche.

If you don’t take the time to optimize your website for SEO, then it is likely that it will be lost in a vast sea of competition.

Important SEO tips to remember.

SEO is absolutely free:
Its hard to advertise your service through marketing & advertisement due to expensive cost of advertisements. In this situation is the only solution you need because it allows you to make your website visible in the search engine results at no cost to you.

SEO is ethical:
You may have heard about unethical tactics earlier when it came to SEO, where unethical webmasters attempted to manipulate or trick the search engine robots to appear more relevant and popular than they actually were in the hopes of improving their rankings. But with GOOGLE's algorithms updates its almost impossible to manipulate the search engine robots. So today's SEO world believes in ethical link building to create quality links for your site.

Search engines read links going back to your website:
Every link of your website online is seen as a “vote” in the eyes of Google; the more votes that you have going back to your website in the form of links, the more valuable and authoritative that your website appears to be in Google's eye. These valuable links going back to your site will increase your ranking in Search Engine. External links can be created in the form of content, like articles, blogs, and press releases published to external websites and directories that link back to your website.

SEO work begins with your website:
You may have posted external links for your website but it will not do you any good till your site is not optimized for the search engines. This can be done through researching keywords that are most related to your niche that your customers are also searching for each month through the use of the Google Keyword Tools. You can use these keywords in the meta-tag descriptions, content, and hyperlinks within the pages of your website. When Google will read your site he will saw your relevancy with your keywords and rank you.
