What Brings Me Towards SEO

When it comes to choosing your field of interest for job i don't know what to do because my technical knowledge was poor. I dnt know what to do. All my classmates have good knowledge of atleast one language (JAVA, .NET etc.).


                                           

 Then i came to know about SEO (search engine optimization). People said SEO is not good enough for a B.tech holder, there is no scope you must go for language. But I joined it, with lots of confusion and nervousness. And now when its been a month of joining SEO I came to know its nothing like that it is not worth choosing. I feel really happy and confident as i have taken right decision for me. Now I'm no more scared of going class daily.
I learned lots of things and the most important is that don't follow others listen to yourself. Only you know what you want and what you can do.

Working of Search Engine

       Search engine follow these steps in order to perform ranking of site.

• CRAWLING
• INDEXING
• PROCESSING
• CALCULATING RELEVANCY
• RETRIEVING RESULTS

CRAWLING -

  In this crawlers or spiders fetch the webpages linked to a site. Crawlers or Spiders are basically   softwares of search engines. e.g googlebot is crawler of Google. Slurp for Yahoo, Bingbot for Bing, Scooter for Altavista.

INDEXING-
It is the process of creating the index for the all fetched webpages and storing them into the database.

PROCESSING-
When we request search on engine, the search engine processes it. It (search engine) compares the search string in the search request with the pages in the database which are indexed.

CALCULTING RELEVANCY-
Since there are more than one pages of search available. So search engine calculates the relevancy of each of the pages in its index to the search string. These indexes are stored in giant database.

RETRIEVING RESULTS-

The is last step. Search engine retrieves best matched results and showing them in browser.

IMPORTANT-

Search engines often update their relevancy algorithms. When you see changes in your rankings it is because of changes in their relevancy algorithms and user can do nothing in it.
The basic principle of all operation of the all search engines are same but due to minor differences in their relevancy algorithms there are major changes in their results relevancy.

1.  White hat SEO

White hat SEO is the technique to follow the rules ,guidelines of a search engine(mainly google), and ensure that the article that we post are our own and in accordance with the title, this will increase our ranking in search engines, visitors will see it and will return again. white hat seo is like creating content for the search, not for search engines by making content easily accessible to the spiders.

IMPORTANT-THIS WAY IS SLOW BUT SURE.

2. Black hat SEO

Black hat SEO is a technique which is the opposite of white hat SEO, which is trying to improve website ranking in search engines in ways that are not allowed to search engines,such as cheating or breaking the scatter machine.

Here are some black hat techniques:

• Keyword stuffing,

• Hiding text and links,

• Doorway and cloaked pages,

• Livestock link

• Make Comment Spamming on other people’s websites.

IMPORTANT: To bring in more visitors very quickly and will certainly pose a risk to our website.Google will suspect activity from your website. And your website can be banned by GOOGLE. A true black hat has a lot of ideas to fool a search engine

3. Grey hat SEO

Grey hat SEO (not white and not black but grey) is a technique that does not fully use the black hat, or maybe combine the two. Perhaps this is also the transformation from white to black ato black to white. It could be argued, this technique is a technique that uses black hat techniques to achieve results white hat)

IMPORTANT: To bring in more visitors is very fast but not as much as black hat and a while google may suspect activities such websites.
